It goes on to say that he could also be helpful in writing devotional materials related to meditation and inner worship. Those incarnations included the manifestation of talents as a counselor, a healer, a scribe, a spiritual leader, a chemist, an intuitive, and an artist. Those lifetimes included the following periods in history: 1) Atlantis 2) ancient Egypt 3) ancient Persia 4) Troy 5) Palestine and, 6) eighteenth century America. In Cayce's own readings, he discussed a number of lifetimes that were having a major influence upon him in the present. The other day, the thought occurred to me that since we know from Edgar Cayce's own readings what some of his past incarnations were all about, if we were to run a Past Life Profile on Edgar Cayce, would the information also possess a high level of relevancy? In other words, would it match what we know from his own readings? I decided to give it a try.
Although it wasn't as specific as stating something like "you were once an English knight named Franklin during the Middle Ages," it did a good job outlining areas of the world that I felt drawn to and discussing both abilities and shortcomings that I was aware of. I remember being rather impressed the first time I read my Past Life Profile with how the chart seemed to capture so many of my strengths, talents, and opportunities. The result is the aptly named "Past Life Profile" Chart. These ideas made Ry wonder, "If a certain planetary alignment suggested a past life in Atlantis during Cayce's time, for example, would it mean the same thing today?" In time, Ry Redd would create a past-life astrology chart that would utilize all of the past-life information in the readings and its associated planetary connection.
The readings also indicate that whenever a soul comes into the earth, essentially the universe "stands still" – somehow astrologically symbolizing the soul's journey through the planetary configuration represented in the heavens. Years ago, astrologer Ry Redd noticed that whenever the Edgar Cayce readings discussed past lives, they also discussed planetary configurations at the time of birth.
